The expansions quantity of tokens is 90 tokens (60 ones and 30 threes). The tokens are available with either shiny or matte surface finishes. See the product photos to see the difference in the finishes.
What explains the asking price of these tokens is their demanding plating process. The tokens are plated in gold on one side (trade good / “cube”) and silver on the other (commodity / “hexagon box”). They are approximately three times as expensive to produce as tokens that only have a single plating color. The token sets will have a 15% pre-order discount until I physically receive the first stock of tokens.
The tokens will be the same size as the cardboard tokens. The three value tokens have a diameter of 25 millimeters and the one value tokens have a diameter of 19 millimeters. The tokens will be 2.5 millimeters thick, which should give them a nice weight and they should feel a bit chunky. The tokens have a beveled edges, so they should be easy to pick up off hard surfaces.
